Ensuring That You Understand the Risks in Hot Air Ballooning

Flight Booking

Allow 3 to 4 hours for the entire experience. Your flight time will be approximately an hour, give or take, depending upon the weather conditions, landing opportunities and fuel quantities. After landing and pack up you will enjoy a champagne or sparkling cider toast, along with seasonal light refreshments. Each passenger will be presented with a flight certificate suitable for framing, and will be provided photos that crew may take from the ground of you in flight.
  • To book a flight a 50% deposit is required, cash, check, venmo or paypal is accepted. The balance to paid in cash at launch field before flight.* The deposit is non-refundable, and if weather/winds prevents the scheduled flight rescheduling will be done at the earliest date available for Details Above All and crew
  • Individual passenger weight and space restrictions apply on all hot air balloon rides. We are able to accommodate 2-3 passengers depending on size of passengers coming. We need the height and weight of each passenger for flight planning purposes for this type of aircraft. (approx. 400 max total combined passenger weight. This is location and temperature dependent).
  • Passengers are required to be at launch field a minimum of 30 minutes before launch time. Passengers arriving after scheduled launch time will give cause to their flight being canceled. Rescheduling will then require a full payment.
  • A balloon flight is not recommended for those under 10 or over 80, persons with osteoporosis, recent trauma or surgery. No expectant mothers permitted. People taking blood thinners need to be aware that it's possible to get bumped or bruised on the landing. Passengers stand during the balloon flight and some agility to get in and out of the balloon basket is needed. PASSENGERS MUST BE IN GOOD HEALTH.
I understand and agree with the requirements of this booking, and realize that the decision for flight on the date scheduled is solely the discretion of the Pilot when safety is a concern.
